~~We start the morning off with some of our favorite BOOKS!!
We have probably 50 -60 of these HUGE children's books! Marty got them a couple of years ago from one of the speech clinics that didn't use them alot. Even though half of them are in Spanish, we have LOVed having them to read!! Rissa loves that the pictures are as big as her!
~~Time to swim~~
Tina invited me to go with her to her sister's house to swim. We've talked about her sister's pool several times, so I was excited to get to see all the cool things Tina had told me about it!
Brenden, Dylan, Connor and Rissa eating some lunch.
Tina, Brea and fatso me...cutsie Rissa.
~~Bunnies at Tina's~~
Tina's dog,Bella, found a cute little surprise in their backyard the other day...four baby bunnies!! After some research, they learned that the mommy would leave during the day and come back at night to feed the babies. They also learned that the mommy would not abandon them if mom could smell human scent (like birds do), so the kids have been giving the bunnies some TLC! After getting the boys from school, I took them over to see them.
This is one of the bunnies close up and somewhat blurry! We thought Con must have been holding "Jumper" b/c it kept jumping in his hands...Brooklyn and Lydia later informed us that he was actually holding "Wild Thing".
Brooklyn was the first to show Rissa a baby bunny. It was fun to see her so excited to see them!
Brant showing Rissa one of the babies...she was very anxious to point out the eyes and nose...and then point to Brant's eyes and nose...and then mommy's eyes and nose...and then her eyes and nose!!
Brant, Seth and cutie little Connor with two of the bunnies.
It's the pass-off! Brant and Jacob were so good with the bunnies! It was nice to see them sharing so nicely that you know I had to post this moment!!
Brooklyn and Rissa. The older kids were all so cute and excited to show Rissa the babies. Rissa really was excited, I just kept timing the flash wrong so I usually got her looking away.
Jacob loved holding the bunnies!! All of the kids were very careful with them and all of them wanted to take one home!!
~~Rissa did get in a little rest twice during the day~~
With Tina's sister's dogs...
...and at Tina's house...when Bella went out to play, Rissa took Bella's bed away!!
~~time for night-night~~
After such a long, busy day, Rissa was excited to get ready for bed! First she took her bath and then it was time to suck all the boogies out...
...and brush those pearly whites!!

Whew, what an eventful, busy day. That pool looked really cool. The bunnies are cute, I didn't know that the moms wouldn't abandon them like birds. Who knew?
What a fun day!! I laughed when you said Rissa had to point at everyones eyes and nose, etc. Parker does the exact same thing!!! If he starts with one, he has to do everyones in the room, including the cat and any stuffed animal that might be around. So cute!!!
What a fun day!! Those books look really fun. Those bunnies were so cute too. I love the how kids act around baby animals...they are so loving and gentle.
First off I want those books! They look like so much fun. But more importantly I want the bunnies. I had to get Caden and show them to him. How stinkin cute! I am so jealous!
Fun books! The bigger the better I always say.
