We went to this National Park in hopes that the tides were low so that we could get down there and play in the tide pools with the star fish:) Much to our dismay, the tides were high (..and I'm holdin on...Olivia Newton John..love that song, lol!!)...so that left us to hike some together and enjoy the beauty of this place.

~~San Diego Temple~~
Marissa was SOO excited to see this beautiful Temple!! She calls it the "Princess Temple"! She used to seeing the Mesa temple, which is built more like a box, so this was so exciting for her to see.
I love the stained glass in this Temple!
I'll keep a copy of this for when she gets married, lol!

This seal came up to us a couple of times.
The kids couldn't believe how huge Mr. Polar Bear was!!
Here's Jacob's FAVORITE! The Balooga Whale!! He knows every fact about it and was happy to share his wealth of information with everyone close by!
Pooped and tired by the end of the day!
We were sitting in the Splash Zone, but we weren't getting splashed, so Brant moved to the fourth row there...and he ended up soaked!!
He's right in front of the guy with the towel around his neck. They were on the first row and decided to move up a little, lol. 
~Feeding the Sting Rays~
We have petted Sting Rays many times before, but never fed them. They eat Squid, so we bought a couple of trays.
So you stick it in between your fingers, like so....
...and then you stick your hand way down in the water with your hand horizontal. The Sting Rays then swim right over your hand and suck the food out from between your fingers! Once I felt it's "beak" and that freaked me out a little, but other than that, it was pretty cool.
Mr. Sting Ray is flapping a 'thank-you' wing at Brant!

What an amazing family you have! Seriously, I got teared up looking at the pix of all of you, and Sis. Virgin;) How neat, the temple, the ocean the happy family pictures...then I saw the picture of the squid and my eyes totally dried up. I'm good now. I love your family. What a memorable vacay:) P.s. Brant is ENORMOUS! So is Jacob!I think that is half the reason I was crying. Kids grow way too fast!
